South Cerney Show

Thank you to the wonderful South Cerney Village, our sponsors and all our visitors. Our 109th South Cerney Show was a great success.

It was amazing the vegetables and flowers that exhibitors were able to enter despite the drought. And of course our cookery, handicrafter's, photography and children's classes maintained their usual fantastic entries.

We hope it will be a bumper year when in early 2027 we distribute funds to local organisations.

The 2027 Show will be our 110th! Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of August 2027.

The Show has its own Facebook (show facebook and Instagram (show insta ) pages to share photos and information and you can see what happened at the last show there!

In case you are thinking of entering next year:

The Show accepts a wide range of entries for vegtables, fruits, flowers, cookery, hobbies and handicrafts, photography and children's classes. Children can also enter the adult categories.

There is currently no charge for entries (except for late entries at the discretion of the committee).

Certificates are issued to the winners of each class. Some classes have trophies which are held by the winner for the year until the next show. Also some classes are awarded RHS certificates. Winners of childrens classes are awarded small sums of money.

Printed copies of the schedule are then available at the Co-op, One Shop, Pennycress Cafe, Fenton's, Laurels Pharmacy, Ewe Move and South Cerney Golf Club.

Individuals can enter multiple classes on one entry form but you do need to do a separate entry for each person even you are from the same household. Children can enter adult classes as well as the children's classes,

Please take note of the rules and hints and tips around entries on pages 8 (how to exhibit), 9 (entry form), 13 (hints for exhibitors) and 14(rules of the show). This is not as exhausting as it sounds!

All entry forms must be received by 5pm the Tuesday before the Show that will be 3rd August 2027

All exhibits should be brought to the Village Hall either on the Friday 6th August (4 - 8 pm) or Saturday 7 August (8 - 9.50 am).

Show entries may be made in 3 ways -

by returning a completed paper entry form as in the Show schedule, on page 9 with the address to deliver it to
by using the on-line entry form found just below or
by email to southcerneyshow@gmail.com giving the information as below
